Our Real Estate Acquisition & Development practice covers every aspect of the real estate process, from the acquisition of the subject property to the development of the acquired property into a different or expanded use.
In acquisition matters, our attorneys are experienced in site evaluation, structuring and negotiating deals, performing and coordinating due diligence reviews, generating documentation and overseeing closings. We also have expertise in all aspects of the development process, including preparing contracts for the design and construction of improvements, negotiating and closing of project financing, development of easements, covenants and restrictions, negotiating and preparing leases and handling project disposition.
Over the course of a project, our team works closely with other practice groups within the firm. By coordinating with attorneys in the areas of zoning and land use regulation and planning, leasing, construction, tax structuring, and entity formation, we provide our clients with experienced counsel for every legal issue they may encounter.
