Overview

Patrick Reid is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. As a registered patent attorney, Patrick’s practice focuses on all areas of intellectual property law, including obtaining and enforcing patent, copyright, and trademark rights, and handling related matters in licensing, unfair competition, e-commerce, due diligence, and intellectual property transactions.

Prior to attending law school, Patrick was a research assistant at the Byrd Alzheimer Institute researching the impact of inflammatory mechanisms on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases. With a background in biochemistry, Patrick enjoys law as much as he does innovation. In his Intellectual Property practice, Patrick is able to merge law with new technologies to help protect his clients’ innovations.

Outside of his practice, Patrick enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, golfing, and following the Gators, Bucs, Lightning, and Rays.
