Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to announce the expansion of its Intellectual Property & Technology Group with the addition of Andriy Lytvyn and Patrick Reid.
Lytvyn joins the firm as a senior counsel and is a registered patent attorney with over a decade of experience in patent and trademark law. He has extensive patent preparation and prosecution experience, which includes over 170 issued U.S. patents granted for a wide array of technologies, encompassing software, telecommunications, medical devices, consumer products, and retail security solutions. He also has substantial experience in trademark prosecution, which includes over 100 U.S. trademark applications. Lytvyn is Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law by The Florida Bar. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida with dual degrees in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering and earned his law degree from Boston University School of Law, whose IP program consistently ranks among the top 10 in the nation.
Reid is an associate and registered patent attorney with broad experience in all areas of intellectual property law, including obtaining and enforcing patent, copyright, and trademark rights, and handling related matters in licensing, unfair competition, e-commerce, due diligence, and intellectual property transactions. Prior to attending law school, Reid was a research assistant at the Byrd Alzheimer Institute researching the impact of inflammatory mechanisms on Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Diseases. Reid received undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Florida, and earned his law degree from Stetson University College of Law.
