Chad E. Burgess

Chad’s practice includes the defense of medical malpractice, hospital liability, products liability, and premises liability claims, along with a diverse array of personal injury cases. He has second-chair trial experience successfully defending physicians and their practice groups. He also has extensive experience taking and defending depositions along with successful participation in alternative dispute resolution. Chad prides himself on bringing a calm, reasonable, and level-headed demeanor to difficult situations to obtain the best results for his clients.

Prior to and during law school, Chad worked as a second-generation firefighter/paramedic and was an adjunct faculty member at St. Petersburg College. Outside of the office, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and son, playing hockey, and traveling.
