Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to announce that associate Kendra M. Lyman was selected to join the Associated Builders and Contractors' (ABC) 2019-2020 NEXGEN Leadership Program. The eight-month training program includes a series of events intended to promote and develop industry knowledge and leadership skills of high-potential construction professionals. Through monthly educational sessions, leadership training, peer-to-peer networking, and community involvement initiatives, the ABC NEXGEN program prepares construction industry professionals for leadership roles both within their respective companies and as members of ABC. Participants must be nominated by their employer, have current or future management or decision-making responsibilities within their company, and have at least one year of experience in the construction industry. Applicants go through a rigorous interview and selection process to fill the 25-30 seats available.
Ms. Lyman is an associate in the firm’s Construction & Design Group. Her practice includes construction claims, design claims, contract documents, insurance and sureties, and project management. She primarily represents owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and sureties in construction defect disputes, bond claims, lien foreclosure actions, and complex commercial litigation.
