Hill Ward Henderson attorney, Joshua C. Webb, has been awarded the Defense Research Institute (DRI) Albert H. Parnell Outstanding Program Chair Award. This award honors an individual who created a dynamic educational program enhancing DRI’s image, and is given to a leader who participated in effective planning, marketing and presentation of the educational program while displaying leadership, dedication and creativity in seminar development, exceeding the organizational expectations for the seminar. Mr. Webb is receiving the award for his work as the program chair of DRI’s Young Lawyers Seminar that took place in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this year. The award will be presented to Mr. Webb during the DRI Awards Luncheon, Thursday, October 8th in Washington, D.C.
DRI is the international membership organization for lawyers involved in the defense of civil litigation with over 20,000 members. DRI is committed to enhancing the skills, effectiveness and professionalism of defense lawyers; anticipating and addressing issues germane to defense lawyers and the civil justice system; promoting appreciation of the rolls of the defense lawyer and improving the civil justice system and preserving the civil jury.
In addition to his diverse litigation practice with Hill Ward Henderson, Mr. Webb is actively involved with the Young Lawyers Committee and the Professional Liability Committee of DRI. He serves as an appointed member of the national steering committee for each group.
