Overview

Reid Haney’s approachable nature and high-level of professionalism allow him to put clients at ease quickly to achieve a high degree of trust and confidence early in relationships. 

Reid's practice focuses on advising clients in connection with mergers & acquisitions and other corporate transactions, with a significant portion of his work involving clients in the healthcare industry. He represents clients in acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, corporate financing and investment transactions, governance, and general corporate and business matters, including succession planning, equity-based compensation plans and commercial contracts. Reid regularly advises physician groups and other providers of healthcare services and products in corporate and transactional matters, as well as in certain regulatory matters, including Stark, state and federal anti-kickback laws, and state and federal licensing.   

Reid represents clients at all stages of their life-cycle, from formation and early-stage development, through growth and capital raising, add-on acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic transactions, and exit transactions. In addition to healthcare, he represents companies in diverse industries, including manufacturing and distribution, financial and business services, technology, real estate, restaurants and hospitality, and private utilities.

  • Represented Seller in the sale of one of the nation’s largest recreational boating clubs, with corporate and franchise operations in over a dozen states to NYSE-traded public company
  • Represented private pharmaceutical company in PIPE and SPAC reverse merger transaction to enable company to raise money in public markets.
  • Represented private equity-backed third-party administrator of retirement and welfare benefit plans in a series of add-on acquisitions as part of revenue growth strategy.
