Overview
David is one of the founding Shareholders of Hill Ward Henderson and is now retired from practicing law. David's practice primarily involved land use and his experience encompassed all areas of traditional land use law, including local, regional, state and federal agency work for land owners, developers, and business and industrial concerns.
David was a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, The Florida Bar and the American Bar Association. He is a former President of the Hillsborough County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, The Florida Bar's Young Lawyers Division and the American Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division.
David has long been active in many of Tampa's civic, charitable and social organizations. He was a member of the Committee of One Hundred and the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce where he served as general counsel. He is a former officer and board member of The Florida Aquarium. David is also a former president of the University of South Florida Foundation, Inc., Gulf Ridge Council, Boy Scouts of America and a past Commodore of the Tampa Yacht and Country Club.
