Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to announce that attorney Kirsten L. Vignec has been appointed to serve a three-year term on the Alliance for Independence (AFI) Board of Directors.
AFI is an Adult Day Training Center that provides independent living skills and vocational training to Polk County adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. AFI is a non-profit organization operating under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors. AFI provides its clients with the knowledge and practical experience to become as independent as possible through a variety of programs. Clients rely on AFI, not only for day training, but for a sense of community where their uniqueness and determination of spirit is celebrated.
Vignec is a shareholder and practice chair of the Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Group. Vignec’ s practice involves employee benefit matters associated with the design and ongoing administration of executive deferred compensation plans, welfare benefit plans, Section 401(k) plans, profit sharing plans, and pension plans. Vignec represents tax-exempt entities, for-profit, private, and publicly-traded companies. Vignec represents clients before the IRS, DOL, and the PBGC with respect to employee benefits matters.
