Hill Ward Henderson is proud to announce that associate Allison M. Stevenson has been appointed co-chair of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) Legislative and Lobby Days Committee.
As co-chair of the Legislative and Lobby Days Committee, Ms. Stevenson will help execute FAWL’s annual Lobby Days event designed to engage membership in the advocacy arena. During Lobby Days, FAWL tracks and reports on pending legislation related to FAWL’s mission, provides training their membership, and advocates in Tallahassee to state leaders.
Founded in 1951, FAWL is a statewide organization that strives to propel women lawyers into economic, social and leadership spheres of power. FAWL and its local chapters focus upon the professional advancement of women lawyers and the promotion of women's rights by providing connectivity, resources, information and benefits to its members.
Ms. Stevenson is an associate in the firm's litigation group. Her practice primarily involves representing a major tobacco company in smoking and health litigation.
