Hill Ward Henderson is proud to announce that shareholder Rikiya (“Riki”) Thomas has been selected to participate in Leadership Tampa’s Class of 2024.
Founded and managed by the Tampa Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Tampa is a leadership group comprised of approximately 50 dynamic and diverse professionals who serve in leadership roles within their organization, and who have demonstrated concern for community issues and volunteered their time with service and professional organizations.
Members of Leadership Tampa participate in educational sessions, tours, and candid conversations with community leaders on a variety of topics over the intensive 10-month program. The program agendas bring in top-level business, civic, and government leaders for an interactive and behind the scenes look at Tampa.
Thomas concentrates her practice on corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, SEC compliance, corporate governance, securities offerings and private equity transactions. Thomas has represented public companies, private equity funds and privately-held companies in the energy, healthcare, technology and manufacturing industries. She also serves as outside general counsel to a number of small and mid-size company clients. Additionally, Thomas advises clients on premerger regulatory matters and filings pursuant to the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act for certain subject transactions.
