Hill Ward Henderson Welcomes Four New Attorneys

Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to announce the addition of four new attorneys to the firm, Allie Brummer, Christian Edwards, Alexandra Guerra, and Daniel Johns.

Brummer is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Group and Intellectual Property Group. Her practice includes general commercial matters, employment defense, and trademark prosecution.

Brummer graduated from Georgetown University Law Center where she was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team and advocated in national and international competitions. While in law school, Brummer was a judicial intern for the Honorable Anthony E. Porcelli in the Middle District of Florida.

Edwards is an associate in the firm’s Personal Injury Practice Group. His practice primarily focuses on the defense of personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and other tort claims. Prior to joining Hill Ward Henderson, Edwards served as a law clerk to The Honorable Joel B. Toomey at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Edwards graduated cum laude from Stetson University College of Law where he served as a Digest Writer for the Stetson Law Review. Additionally, during his time in law school, Edwards completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Matthew Lucas at the Second District Court of Appeal.

Guerra is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Group. Her practice primarily focuses on medical malpractice, hospital liability, nursing home and long term care facility defense.

Guerra graduated cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law where she served as a Research Editor for the Florida Entertainment and Sports Law Review. During her time in law school, Guerra was vice president and a founder of the Real Estate Law Association and the social chair of the Latino Law Student Association. She also served as a clinician in the Immigration Clinic at Levin College of Law. While in law school, Guerra served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Charlene Edwards Honeywell at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Johns joins the firm as Senior Counsel. He focuses his practice on representing companies, financial sponsors, family offices, and individuals in a variety of corporate and transactional matters. He assists buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions and advising companies and executives on day-to-day legal matters.

Johns began his career at a large law firm in Tampa, focusing on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters. Prior to joining Hill Ward Henderson, he held the position of Senior Counsel at one of the largest and fastest-growing insurance brokers in the United States, where he was lead counsel on over 100 M&A transactions.
