William J. Judge, Jr., a Shareholder with Hill Ward Henderson’s Litigation Group, was recently reelected to the Board of Directors for Florida Medical Manufacturers' Consortium, Inc. (FMMC), a statewide association of medical technology firms. The FMMC exists to unite, promote and grow the Florida medical device industry as the state is the second highest concentration of FDA registered medical device establishments in the United States.
Judge’s practice primarily involves medical and automotive products liability, commercial disagreements, construction disputes, medical malpractice, and intellectual property. He has represented a variety of Fortune 500 clients in litigation involving medical devices, air bags, seatbelts, automotive brake systems, pharmaceuticals, restraint of trade/non-compete agreements, contract disputes, and intellectual property.
Active in both professional related activities and community organizations, Judge is a member of the Product Liability Committee of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and is a member of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance. In addition, he has served as a marketing board member for Tampa’s Lifepath Hospice and as a member of the construction committee for Habitat for Humanity.
