Mark J. Criser, Shareholder in the Litigation Group at Tampa law firm Hill Ward Henderson, has been selected to participate in Leadership Florida’s 32nd Class. A statewide community of leaders actively engaged in understanding and serving our state, the Leadership Florida program is highly competitive accepting only between 40 and 70 leaders throughout the state each year.
Created in 1982, Leadership Florida builds a sense of statewide community by identifying and training individuals with the passion and commitment to help make great things happen in our state. The program is designed to provide leaders with important and relevant information that is extremely useful in professional and civic life for participants.
Mr. Criser is active in the community serving as the National Chairman-Elect for AMIKids, Inc. and as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for AMI Kids-Tampa. As a result of his efforts and contributions in that role, Mr. Criser was awarded AMIKids’ Excellence in Governance Award in 2006 and Excellence in Leadership Award in 2010. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Criser is also a member of the University of Florida Alumni Association Board of Directors and the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society.
