Kimberly G. Christmas, a paralegal at Hill Ward Henderson, was recently elected 2nd Vice President of the Paralegal Association of Florida, Inc. (PAF, Inc.) at its annual meeting in Tallahassee, Florida. The PAF, Inc. is a professional association of approximately 12 chapters and 1,000 paralegals throughout the State of Florida. The purpose of PAF, Inc. is to provide educational and networking opportunities, promote and offer voluntary certification examinations, to facilitate professional promotion and community outreach, to be affiliated with professional association and to distribute official publications to keep members apprised of latest news affecting members and the profession.
Ms. Christmas is a paralegal in the firm’s Executive Compensation and Employee Benefits Group, which provides a full range of services in connection with the establishment and maintenance of all types of employee benefit and executive compensation plans. She maintains the Florida Registered Paralegal designation from the Florida Bar Association. She also maintains the Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent designation from the Internal Revenue Service and the Qualified Pension Administrator designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries. In addition, she is Past President of the Paralegal Association of Florida, Inc – Hillsborough County Chapter and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Paralegal Association of Florida, Inc. She is also an active member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, serving on the Bench Bar Conference Committee and the Community Service Committee.
