Hill Ward Henderson Expands its Real Estate Team With the Addition of Lauren Rubenstein

Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to welcome Lauren Rubenstein as a shareholder in the firm’s Land Use Practice Group.

Rubenstein focuses her practice on a wide range of land use matters, including zoning, annexations, development approvals, governmental relations and permitting. She enjoys working on projects of all sizes and serving clients throughout Tampa Bay, from single-family homeowners to developers of multi-family and commercial projects. In addition to her land use practice, she has extensive experience relating to code enforcement, public records and sunshine law. She also works alongside the firm’s Trusts and Estates group to provide clients with estate planning, probate and trust administration services.

“I have worked with several Hill Ward Henderson attorneys over the years and am privileged to join one of the leading land use practices in the region,” said Rubenstein.

Prior to joining Hill Ward Henderson, she was a partner at the law firm of Denhardt and Rubenstein, where she served as City Attorney for the City of Pinellas Park, as well as a Special Magistrate for numerous jurisdictions throughout Pinellas County. Rubenstein earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida where she graduated magna cum laude. She earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law where she graduated summa cum laude.

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Rubenstein is passionate about serving her community, both personally and professionally. She is an active member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association, where she served as its 97th President from 2021-2022.
