Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to announce the election of five new shareholders: Roland S. Chase, Shane T. Costello, Stephen E. Kelly, J. Logan Murphy, andJeffrey J. Wilcox. This election now brings the firm’s number of shareholders to 66, of 101 attorneys.
Mr. Chase is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Tax Group. His practice area includes securities, mergers & acquisitions, private equity and corporate law. He has extensive experience representing public and private companies in a variety of industries in all aspects of the offering, purchase and sale of equity and debt securities. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University.
Mr. Costello is a member of the firm’s Real Property Litigation and Commercial Litigation Groups, where his practice focuses on litigation involving real estate and land use issues, complex commercial matters, and trust and estate disputes. He received his J.D. cum laude from Florida State University College of Law and his B.A. from Georgetown University.
Mr. Kelly is a Registered Patent Attorney in the firm’s Litigation and Corporate and Tax groups. His practice offers a full range of intellectual property law, including obtaining and enforcing patent, copyright, and trademark rights, and handling related matters in unfair competition, e-commerce, licensing, due diligence, and IP transactions. He received his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law and his Master of Civil Engineering and B.S. in Civil Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
Mr. Murphy is a member of the firm’s Litigation Group and has experience representing clients in a wide variety of business disputes. In addition to his general commercial litigation practice, Mr. Murphy focuses on the defense of attorneys and law firms in professional liability claims. He received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and B.S. cum laude from the University of Florida.
Mr. Wilcox is a member of the firm’s Litigation Group where his practice primarily focuses on employment law, including wage-hour compliance, FMLA and ADA compliance, allegations of discrimination and harassment, non-compete litigation, and handbook and policy drafting. He received his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law with honors and B.A. with honors from Florida State University.
