Matthew F. Hall was recently appointed Co-Chair of the Mentoring Subcommittee of theHillsborough County Bar Association’s Military and Veterans Affairs Committee. The Military and Veterans Affairs Committee goal is to develop a self-sustaining outreach program for veterans in Hillsborough County through the establishment of three subcommittees: Pro Bono Services, Education and Mentoring. The Mentoring Subcommittee liaisons with the local Veterans Court and other veteran entities to link up a veteran in need of mentorship or guidance with a current or former service member in the area. To foster participation, the subcommittee works to develop a list of potential mentors through local active-duty personnel, former or retired military personnel within the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and retired military members living in Hillsborough County.
Mr. Hall is an Associate in Hill Ward Henderson’s Litigation Group. His practice primarily focuses on employment law and general commercial litigation. Prior to law school, Mr. Hall served as an infantryman in the U.S. Army, deploying to Iraq in 2003. During law school, he served as President of the Military Law Students Association and created a scholarship fund for military veterans to attend University of Florida Levin College of Law.
