The Founder Institute, the world’s largest startup accelerator with over 750 graduate companies, announced today that its new chapter in Tampa is being sponsored by the law firm of Hill Ward Henderson. The firm will host the Spring Semester at its downtown offices and will teach the courses on legal issues.
“We are pleased to be sponsoring the Founder Institute in Tampa,” said Dave Felman, shareholder and leader of the firm's Corporate & Tax Group. “It’s a meaningful way for our attorneys to help the next generation of company founders and support the entrepreneurial community at-large.” The services that Founder Institute companies can avail themselves of include incorporation, intellectual property protections, business contracts, and employment law.
“The Founder Institute owes its success in part to the major law firms that sponsor each semester in 40 cities across 24 countries,” said Michael O’Donnell, Managing Director of the Tampa chapter. “Hill Ward Henderson provides a stunning venue for learning and collaboration, and the legal expertise that every founder requires to build a successful business.”
Applications for the Spring Semester are open until March 3. The semester begins on March 19 and runs every Tuesday evening (with the exception of 4/16 and 5/28) through July 2.
