Hill Ward Henderson is proud to announce that Connolly C. McArthur has been elected to serve as President of the Clearwater Bar Association (CBA). In a ceremony at the 2024 Law Day Luncheon at Ruth Eckert Hall in Clearwater, FL, McArthur was sworn in for the term July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025.
Established in 1930, the CBA serves the community and its over 1,000 members, by helping attorneys build a professional network and improve their skills through educational programs and opportunities to earn valuable experience in leadership roles. The Board of Directors establishes policy and monitors the activities of the organization while also accomplishing association goals, guided by the CBA mission: To work for the greater good of attorneys and the community at-large to exceed the expectations of both the legal profession, as well as the community, as a model of service and action.
McArthur is a shareholder in the firm’s Medical Malpractice group and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Mediator. She has extensive experience representing long-term care communities, including assisted living facilities and nursing homes, from pre-suit through final resolution. McArthur’s representation of long-term care communities includes defending resident’s rights, premises liability claims, drafting, and enforcing arbitration agreements. As a Circuit Mediator, McArthur brings considerable experience in personal injury litigation assisting others to resolve their disputes.
