Hill Ward Henderson is proud to announce that Connolly C. McArthur has been elected to serve as President-Elect of the Clearwater Bar Association (CBA) for the term July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024.
Since 1930, the CBA has been serving the community and it’s over 800 members, assisting attorneys to grow their practice by helping them build a professional network and improve their skills through educational programs and opportunities to earn valuable experience in leadership roles. The Board of Directors establishes policy and monitors the activities of the organization. The Board takes an active role in accomplishing association goals, always with an eye toward the CBA mission: To work for the greater good of attorneys and the community at-large to exceed the expectations of both the legal profession, as well as the community, as a model of service and action.
McArthur is a shareholder in the firm’s Medical Malpractice group and a Certified Mediator. She has extensive experience representing long-term care communities, including assisted living facilities and nursing homes, from pre-suit through final resolution. McArthur’s representation of long-term care communities includes defending resident’s rights, premises liability claims, drafting, and enforcing arbitration agreements. As a Certified Circuit Mediator, McArthur brings considerable experience in personal injury litigation assisting others to resolve their disputes.
