Hill Ward Henderson is proud to announce that Connolly McArthur has been appointed to serve two positions within the Clearwater Bar Association (CBA). Ms. McArthur has been elected to serve as Chair of the Professionalism and CLE Committee for the CBA, as well as a member of the Clearwater Bar Foundation’s Board of Trustees. Both appointments are effective from May 2019-May 2020.
Since 1930, the CBA has been serving the community and its over 900 members and assisting attorneys to grow their practice by helping them to build a professional network and hone their skills by providing educational programs and opportunities to earn valuable experience in leadership roles. The Clearwater Bar Foundation is a non-profit charitable corporation within the CBA supported by contributions from individuals and corporations. The foundation's main objective is to obtain gifts and contributions to be used for the various purposes in the community.
Ms. McArthur is senior counsel in the firm’s Litigation Group. Her practice focuses primarily on the defense of long term care communities, including assisted living facility and nursing home claims, and premises liability defense. She has extensive experience in drafting and enforcing arbitration agreements for Long Term Care communities.
