Eric is an Associate in the firm's Litigation Group. His practice focuses on litigation relating to real property, which includes ownership and title disputes, lease issues, ad valorem tax and eminent domain cases, vendor and purchaser disputes, zoning and administrative matters, claims relating to constitutional property rights, Section 1983 claims, appeals, and other cases concerning real property rights.
While at Stetson, he participated in both Law Review and Moot Court, and won best brief and runner-up best advocate at the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition. Eric received the E. Harris Drew Memorial Award upon graduation for Excellence in Written and Oral Advocacy, and the Victor O. Mehle Trial Advocacy Award as the best advocate in his trial advocacy section. Eric continues to remain active in supporting Stetson, and the development of Stetson students, by volunteering numerous times a year to critique or judge Stetson advocacy teams or advocacy events. Additionally, Eric remains active in the legal community as a member of the Barney Masterson Inn of Court, and in the community at large as a member of the Corporation to Develop Community's board.
Before attending law school, Eric coached seven years of college baseball and one year of high school baseball. He now enjoys attending both college-level and professional baseball games. Eric also enjoys fishing and spending time with his family and daughter.
